Ruth Reichl is an honest-to-goodness real person who has let us into her life. She's a wife, mom, chef, and former writer for the Los Angeles, and the New York Times! I thoroughly enjoyed this book and its multi-level, clever storytelling and this woman's reflection on her career and life. Plus, she shares some really good recipes.
My bookclub, Books and Booze in the Desert (for Classy Women) had have been reading some fairly heavy books lately, but this selection was a light, breezy and welcomed change :-)
